- Daily kick starters/ Students will be in Cafeteria Study Hall this week during 2nd period - kick starter on the computer (completed in the cafeteria) based on job apps/ information sheet information/ in-person communication skills)
* students will be able to state Mr.K's 8 Steps for finding/getting a job.
* students will be able to put Mr. K's 8 Steps in order
* students will be able elaborate on each of Mr. K's 8 Steps - what do you as a person looking for work need to do for each step/each steps importance in the job search process ...
* State the importance of having an Information Sheet to complete a job application form
*students will organize personal/educational/work experience/references
* students will complete a basic application form using information sheets
* students will complete job app with teacher assistance/ then independently
* students will identify what makes a "neat" job app/ "complete job app
* students will look at completed job apps/ point out good vs bad points about each
* Sub Monday 3/9, ACT testing Tues/Wed ... Thur class ... Friday no school for students

Students will see what type of questions are on the ASVAB test - taking practice ASVAB test Wednesday-Friday

* Students will be able to demonstrate the steps of following oral directions : Tie Ties following oral directions
* Students will verbalize what they want to do following high school

* Students will compare their initial ideas as to what their job/career interest areas are to what they find after google research of info. see how close they were vs reality...
* Students will be able to come up with a pathway " written plan" to reaching their career/job/educational goal
